I'm curious to know if there are other Traveller: TNE players in the
S.F. Bay Area who may be willing to open up their ranks to new
players/referees or possibly merging or organizing new
     campaigns/adventures.

Please email me at christopher_griffen@dmcwave.com if interested.

AOL's Mailing List database is pretty out of date.....

Send mail to: listproc@mpgn.com

In the body say:

subscribe traveller Your Name

And you are subscribed. Once subscribed, to contribute, just send mail to:
    traveller@mpgn.com

We also have the xboat list which a discussion of Classic and MegaTraveller.

Same procedures as above, but substitute xboat for traveller.

I maintain the list.

I finally found my copy of James Perkin's subsec subsector mapping
program source code. What I'm missing are the postscript and ascii
hex code modules (the parts that actually format it for printing) I
originally got this at ftp.engrg.uwo.ca (old 'official' (TML)
Traveller site) but it's no longer there. I'm hoping that someone
reading the list has better maintained archives than I...anyone know
where this stuff is?

Thanks

Notes:

A common design within and near the Solomani Confederation, the Standard
Shipyards J3 Trader was built in large numbers before the Collapse. A
cheaper Jump-2 variant, with increased cargo space was also produced in
large numbers. The other major variant on this design was the 'William
Dampier' Class of exploration / survey vessels. The 'Dampiers were fitted
with jump-5 drives and a vastly upgraded sensor suite, at the expense of
most of the cargo space. Designed for exploration and survey work in the
Rimreach, Phlange and Tracerie Sectors, the 'William Dampier' class were
usually armed.

A few examples of the J3 Trader survive into the New Era. The Near Bootes
Commonwealth retains a couple of examples as VIP transports, the rest have
passed into private hands.
